Business context

Businesses needed several ways to collect feedback without scattering responses across disconnected channels.

The problem

Survey creation, kiosk capture, QR responses, follow-up flows, and analytics can quickly become separate tools.

The goal

Bring the feedback workflow into one product that works across channels and remains understandable to business users.

User experience decisions

  • Support kiosk, QR, direct link, and website embed channels from the same survey model.
  • Design a response flow that feels fast for customers and structured for business review.
  • Create dashboard views that surface themes and follow-up needs without inventing metrics.
  • Handle offline kiosk responses so unreliable connectivity does not interrupt capture.

Technical approach

  • Used a Laravel API and Nuxt frontend architecture for separation between product interface and business logic.
  • Planned database structures around surveys, channels, responses, themes, and organization-level reporting.
  • Built production workflows around cloud deployment, environment configuration, and maintainable releases.

Interface walkthrough

  • Teams create surveys and choose which channels should collect responses.
  • Customers respond through kiosk, QR, link, or embedded website forms.
  • Businesses review responses, themes, highlights, and operational follow-up from the dashboard.

Outcome

Built a working product that connects survey creation, multiple feedback channels, analytics, automated insights, offline capture, and cloud deployment in one platform.

Reflection

AIDIA Survey shaped the way I think about product work: the interface matters, but the operational workflow behind it matters just as much.
